Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3 carrots, cut in 1/2 inch pcs
  • 2 potatoes, cut in 1/2 inch pcs
  • 1 med. onion, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 7.5 ounce. pkg. refrigerated biscuits
  • Paprika

Direcciones

  1. In medium bowl combine beef, egg, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 tsp. garlic pwdr; mix well. Shape into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls. In Dutch oven brown meatballs; drain.
  2. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water. Add in water, soup, vegetables, thyme and 1/8 tsp. garlic pwdr to meatballs; stir gently. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 min.
  3. Separate dough into 10 biscuits, cut each biscuit in half. Place biscuits on warm stew mix, sprinkle with paprika. Simmer uncovered for 10 min. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 min longer.
  4. Work for the Lord: the pay isn't much but the retirement plan is out of this world.
