Heath Bar Cake

This is a fabulous new dessert of the month and anything that includes Heath Bar is right up my alley, thanks Mary for the great cake!!

Heath Bar Cake

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour and sugar and then cut in the butter. Reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture for the topping. To remainder add 1/2 cup nuts and 4 chopped candy bars, then buttermilk, soda, beaten egg and vanilla. Blend lightly. Pour into greased and floured cake pans. Sprinkle with topping: 1 Heath Bar-crushed, 1/4 cup nuts and 1/2 cup mixture. Bake for about 35 minutes. Then frost with your favorite frosting and top with more crushed Heath Bars!
