Receta hemp blueberry spinach smoothie
Lately I have been craving smoothies in the worst way - smoothies are incredibly easy to throw together and super versatile. The flavor combinations are really endless, yesterday morning I made Justin a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie; Chocolate PB, bananas & h2o - that's it and it was delicious! Doesn't get any easier than 3 ingredients.
For me, I prefer a little less sweetness in the morning and I have got to have my greens thrown in there somewhere. This smoothie has been my go to breakfast at home and post work out snack for a couple of weeks ; baby spinach, frozen blueberries, hemp hearts & hemp powder {optional}, cinnamon & hemp or almond milk....I also love adding a dash of pure vanilla extract.
This smoothie keeps me satisfied through the morning until lunch. Not only is it filling but also packed full of goodness. In the anticipation of Spring, Justin and I have been in the "lets get the house all sparkly" groove; we just installed a new kitchen sink & faucet with an under-mount water filtration system, a new rug from west elm is on its way and let me tell you I am so in love with this rug! Speaking of love, I have been obsessed with air plants and succulents; several have found happy homes throughout my house. Now I am trying to convince Justin to install a new kitchen counter top...but that may need some more convincing, perhaps a project for next Spring!

Hemp Blueberry Spinach Smoothie
serves 1
you will need:
- 1/2 cup frozen Blueberries
- 1 cup baby spinach Spinach
- 1 cup Hemp or Almond Milk
- 1 tbsp Hemp Powder
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Hemp Hearts/Seeds
assembly:
Place all ingredients minus the hemp hearts into a food processor or high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Transfer to glass & sprinkle with hemp hearts.
