Receta Herb Honey Dijon Salmon
When I think of a simple dinner idea that’s both satisfying and healthy I think of salmon.
Did you know that people who eat fish seem to be protected from a host of conditions?
Salmon is a nutrient powerhouse. Salmon provides a good source of high quality protein and the heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Just a 4 oz serving contains enough vitamin D to satisfy daily requirement. And the same piece of fish contains over half of the necessary B12, niacin, selenium and is an excellent source of B6 and magnesium. There are a number of health reasons to consume fish, especially salmon just Google salmon nutrition and see for yourself.
Both wild and farmed salmon have low levels of mercury but buy wild salmon if available.
In my house seafood is consumed four times per week, two days are vegetarian and only once a week do we eat red meat or poultry. To keep our taste buds happy I get creative with the way I cook fish. Let’s face it no one wants to eat the same dish all the time.
This recipe is a great way to add flavor to salmon. It tastes so good that this has been the only way we make salmon lately. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, it requires very little work on your end. Simply make herb honey dijon, brush it on each side of the fish and grill on your stovetop griddle.
I’m really excited because at of 6pm tonight I am on vacation for 12 days.
But right now I got to get back to the kickoff game. Have a wonderful weekend. XOXO.
