Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. flour, divided
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Packages Fleischmann's rapid rise yeast
  • 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1 teaspoon grnd thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 c. water
  • 6 tbsp. butter (divided)
  • 1 egg (room temp.)

Direcciones

  1. Set aside 1 c. flour. Combine 2 1/2 c. flour, sugar, salt, yeast, cheese and herbs. Heat water and 4 Tbsp. butter till warm to touch (125-130 degrees); stir into dry mix. Stir in egg and only sufficient reserved flour to make soft dough.
  2. Knead till smooth and elastic, about 4 min on lightly floured surface. Cover; let rest 10 min. Roll into a 12 inch square.
  3. Brush with 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Cut into 25 squares. Overlap squares, butter side down, in greased 12 c. tube pan. Cover, let rise in a hot place till double in size, about 30 min. Bake 375 degrees, 20-25 min or possibly till done.
