Ingredientes

  • 4 med. tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. finely minced green bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp. finely minced onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon each dry basil and savory
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tbsp. plain, dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley

Direcciones

  1. Cut tomatoes in half; squeeze out and throw away seeds. Scoop out pulp; chop and place in medium bowl. Stir in green pepper, onion, garlic, basil, savory, salt, thyme, and pepper. Add in bread crumbs; stir till thoroughly combined. Spoon into tomato halves. Sprinkle tops with parsley. Place in a circle on plate and cover with wax paper. Microwave on medium 10 min rearranging tomatoes halfway through cooking. Let stand 2 min. Makes 4 servings. 67 calories, 3gm protein, 1gm fat, 14gm carbohydrates, 353mg sodium.
