- Cut tomatoes in half; squeeze out and throw away seeds. Scoop out pulp; chop and place in medium bowl. Stir in green pepper, onion, garlic, basil, savory, salt, thyme, and pepper. Add in bread crumbs; stir till thoroughly combined. Spoon into tomato halves. Sprinkle tops with parsley. Place in a circle on plate and cover with wax paper. Microwave on medium 10 min rearranging tomatoes halfway through cooking. Let stand 2 min. Makes 4 servings. 67 calories, 3gm protein, 1gm fat, 14gm carbohydrates, 353mg sodium.
