Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. dry stuffing mix (12 ounce.)
  • 6 cube steaks
  • 2 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 env. onion soup mix
  • 16 ounce. can or possibly 1 pound fresh wax or possibly green beans
  • 16 ounce. stewed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • Cotton string (feed sack string is good)

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry celery and bell pepper in butter. When they become transparent, set aside. Roll each steak with 1/4 c. dry stuffing mix inside and tie with clean cotton string. Brown in warm shortening.
  2. In large skillet heat soup mix and 1 1/2 c. water. Add in beans, tomatoes, celery, peppers and steak rolls. Cook till tender. Remove meat and vegetables from liquid. To liquid, add in 1 Tbsp. flour to make gravy.
