Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • Oil for frying

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients in a deep mixing bowl. Knead approximately 25 times. Form into a ball and let set for 20 min.
  2. Heat the oil to approximately 400 degrees.
  3. Divide the dough in thirds and roll out one at a time on a well floured surface as thin as possible. Cut into desired shapes.
  4. Fry in the oil, a few at a time till lightly brown on both sides, turning once.
  5. Drain on paper towels, roll in granulated sugar or possibly top with honey.
