Ingredientes

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 x egg -- lightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 10 ounce red raspberry or possibly strawberry preserves

Direcciones

  1. Combine flour, baking pwdr, and salt. cut in margarine till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Add in egg, water, and extract, mixing lightly with fork till dough forms a ball. Refrigerate1/4 of the dough. Press remaining dough on bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of a 9 inch spring form pan. Spread dough with preserves. On lightly floured surface, roll chilled dough into a rectangle, 1/8 inch thick; cut into 1/2 inch wide strips. Place strips diagonally over preserves to create lattice; press edges to seal. Bake in 350 degree F. oven 35 to 40 min or possibly till lightly browned. Loosen crust from rim of pan; cold before removing rim of pan.
