Ingredientes

  • 10 slices bread, white or possibly whole wheat
  • 1 pound Smithfield ham sausage or possibly 2 c. minced Smithfield ham
  • 6 Large eggs
  • 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 stick butter

Direcciones

  1. Cook and drain sausage on paper towel. Cut bread into 1 inch squares and place in 9 x 12 x 2 inch dish or possibly baking pan sprayed with oil. Beat Large eggs and lowfat milk and pepper. Pour over bread. Add in meat and cheese over top. Cut butter into small pcs on top. Cover and chill overnight. Next morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake souffle uncovered for 35 to 40 min. Cut and serve.
