- Note-if using very tart juice such as Pomegranate or possibly Cranberry, use 1/3 c. sugar. Heat 1 c. fruit juice in small saucepan till it just simmers don't cook for any length of time. Turn off heat and stir in sugar, if using. Place remaining 1 c. cool juice in a medium bowl and sprinkle gelatin over, stir, let sit for 2 min and stir again. Add in hot juice to cool juice, stir, and pour mix into 8x8 pan. Chill till hard, 4 hrs, and cut into cubes.
