%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20there%20is%20one%20thing%20we%20British%20love%20.%20.%20.%20%20it's%20our%20biscuits,%20or%20cookies%20to%20you%20North%20Americans!%20%20%20There%20is%20no%20end%20to%20the%20varieties%20in%20the%20shops.%20%20%20Beautiful%20chocolate%20bourbons%20.%20.%20.%20two%20buttery%20dark%20chocolate%20rectangles%20put%20together%20with%20a%20chocolate%20buttercream.%20%20%20Garibaldi's,%20affectionately%20known%20as%20Squashed%20Fly%20biscuits%20.%20.%20.%20%20almost%20crackerlike%20and%20stogged%20full%20of%20sweet%20little%20currants%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EButtery%20Rich%20Tea,%20Shortbreads,%20Jammy%20Dodgers,%20Digestives,%20Custard%20Creams%20.%20.%20.%20to%20name%20but%20a%20few.%20%20My%20favourites%20are%20Hobnob's.%20%20%20Oaty,%20buttery,%20nobbly,%20crisp%20and%20faintly%20tasting%20of%20golden%20syrup.%20%20They%20come%20in%20a%20few%20varieties,%20including%20chocolate%20covered,%20caramel%20and%20chocolate%20covered,%20chocolate%20chip,%20etc.%20%20My%20favourite%20though%20are%20the%20plain%20old%20.%20.%20.%20unadulterated%20hobnob!%20%20You%20just%20can't%20beat%20a%20good%20old%20fashioned%20crisp%20oatmeal%20cookie!%20%20You%20just%20CAN'T!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20when%20they're%20homemade%20hobnobs,%20they're%20even%20better!%20%20%20They%20look%20like%20the%20real%20thing.%20%20%20They%20smell%20like%20the%20real%20thing%20.%20.%20.%20they%20taste%20.%20.%20.%20like%20%20SUPER%20hobnobby%20hobnobs!%20%20Seriously.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECrisp%20and%20sturdy%20cookies.%20%20Perfect%20for%20dunking.%20%20(Do%20you%20dunk??)%20%20In%20milk%20or%20in%20tea,%20or%20even%20in%20coffee.%20%20These%20are%20absolute%20wonderful.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUnadulterated%20with%20any%20wierd%20flavours%20.%20.%20.%20just%20butter%20and%20oats%20.%20.%20.%20and%20a%20just%20the%20merest%20hint%20of%20caramel%20from%20the%20golden%20syrup%20.%20.%20.%20%20if%20these%20aren't%20better%20than%20the%20store%20bought%20ones,%20I'll%20eat%20my%20hat.%20%20It's%20impossible%20to%20eat%20just%20one.%20%20Impossible.%20%20There%20is%20only%20one%20danger%20in%20baking%20these%20.%20.%20.%20a%20taste%20of%20one%20of%20these%20and%20you%20will%20NEVER%20settle%20for%20a%20store%20bought%20one%20again!%20%20Don't%20say%20I%20didn't%20warn%20you.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
