Homemade Mango Jam (Jelly)

Ingredientes

  • 4 mangoes
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • sugar (I prefer washed sugar)
  • water

Direcciones

  1. Peel and dice mangoes; measure the fruit.
  2. Pour into a pot then add an equal amount of sugar. (Ratio is 1:1)
  3. Add the juice and zest of lemon.
  4. Add enough water to keep from sticking, about 1/4-1/2 cup.
  5. Cook mangoes until soft.
  6. Immersion blend until smooth or work in batches with a blender.
  7. Cook until thickened or until desired consistency.
  8. Transfer the jam into jars for storage.
