Receta Homemade Taco Seasoning

Taco seasoning is easy and cheap to buy, but it’s even easier and cheaper to make at home. You can make as large of a batch as you want, provided you have a jar in which to store it, and you can have it on hand at all times to use in original or classical ways. I like Homemade Taco Seasoning first and foremost, however, because of the taste. It never tastes stale or fake, and it can be customized easily depending on what you like.

My favorite way to make tacos is to use 2 tablespoons of Homemade Taco Seasoning per 1 pound of ground beef. To make the tacos extra saucy and delicious, I typically stir in 1 (6 oz.) can of tomato sauce. It someone brings the whole ground beef situation full circle, make it juicy, tender, and flavorful. The taco seasoning is good on it’s own too, but adding tomato sauce really takes your tacos to the next level.

When I’m not eating tacos, I’m often eating Beef Taco Stuffed Tomatoes, tacos’ dairy-free, gluten-free, diet-friendly little brother. Follow the same ratio of 2 tablespoons seasoning per 1 pound of ground beef, and of course add in a can of tomato sauce! Homemade Taco Seasoning is also perfect in Slow Cooker Taco Soup or the always-popular Dorito Salad. With the last batch, I put half in a jar and half in a leftover, washed out spice shaker. That way I can easily season chicken breast or homemade tortilla chips if they need a little taco spice. So easy and convenient!
