Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • 5 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 5 c. plain flour
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the hot water and set aside. Combine the baking pwdr, salt, baking soda and flour. Cut in shortening; add in the buttermilk, sugar and yeast mix. Knead the dough slightly. Put in a covered bowl and chill till chilled. Roll out dough and cut. Bake biscuits very slowly at 200 degree till golden.
