Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. minced pared apple
  • 1/3 c. toasted minced pecans
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or possibly butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Direcciones

  1. Grease and flour 8" square pan or possibly 9" round pan.
  2. Beat baking mix, sugar, egg, lowfat milk, shortening and 1 teaspoon vanilla in small bowl on low speed, scrapping bowl constantly, 30 seconds.
  3. Beat on medium speed, scrapping bowl occasionally, 4 min.
  4. Stir in apple.
  5. Spread in pan.
  6. Bake till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 min.
  7. Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl.
  8. Prick deep holes in warm cake with fork; spread honey mix over top.
  9. Serve hot with whipped cream is desired.
