Ingredientes

  • 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (4 1/2 to 5 c.)
  • 2 pkt Fleischmann's Quick-Rise Instant Yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp grated orange peel
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. evaporated lowfat milk (2%)
  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 x Large eggs beaten Honey Topping

Direcciones

  1. In large bowl, combine 4 c. flour, yeast, sugar, orange peel and salt. Heat orange juice, lowfat milk and butter till warm to touch; stir into dry mix. Fold in Large eggs and sufficient remaining flour to make soft dough. Knead on floured surface till smooth, 4-5 min. Cover; let rest 10 min. Divide dough in half. Roll each to 6- 16-inches; cut each into sixteen 1-inch wide strips.
  2. Tie each strip into a knot; place on greased baking sheets. Cover; let rise till doubled in size, about 40 to 50 min. Brush with Honey Topping.
  3. Bake at 350 F for 15 min or possibly till done; cold slightly on wire racks.
  4. Brush again with Honey Topping.
  5. Honey Topping: Combine 1/4 c. honey, 2 Tbsp. melted butter and 1 Tbsp. orange juice.
  6. Yield: 32 Buns
