Honey Glazed Veal Loaf

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pound grnd veal (turkey works great)
  • 1/3 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. thinly sliced green onion, divided
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse grnd pepper
  • 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon-style mustard

Direcciones

  1. Combine grnd meat, bread crumbs, 1/3 c. onion, basil, salt and pepper. Add in evaporated lowfat milk, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Place loaf in pan.
  2. Combine mustard and honey. Brush half of glaze over loaf. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 min. Brush with remaining glaze. Bake 30 min more. Sprinkle remaining green onions on top. Serves 6.
