Receta HONEY NUT COOKIES

My family loves anything made with honey in the recipe. These cookies are so good and children love them. They won’t last long!
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned Quaker oats
- 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine or 12 tablespoons, melted
- 1 cup honey
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup walnut pieces
In a large mixing bowl whisk together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and oats. In a small bowl mix honey, melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla. Add this to the larger bowl and mix with a spoon. Add egg and continue mixing until batter is well mixed. Fold in raisins and walnut pieces. Spray a cookie sheet and drop by spoonfuls onto sheet. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 12 to 16 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen depending on size you make them. Enjoy!
