Honey Pinwheel Biscuits

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 to 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • Cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. currants
  • 1/4 minced pecans

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour and baking pwdr and salt together. Cut in butter. Add in lowfat milk gradually, stirring till soft dough is formed. Turn on lightly floured board and knead lightly 30 seconds. Roll tightly into oblong piece, about 1/4 inch thick. Drizzle honey over surface and sprinkle with cinnamon, currants, and pecans entire surface. Roll dough as you would jelly roll. Slice 1 inch and place, cut side down, on oiled or possibly butter cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven (375 degrees) about 15 min till brown.
