Honey-Strawberry Yogurt Scones

strawberry jelly, jam or preserves

1. In a small bowl mix, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Cut in cold, cubed butter, until resembles coarse crumbs.

2. Add strawberry-honey yogurt, beaten egg and vanilla extract to dry ingredients, mix until moistened. Add chopped strawberries.

4. Turn onto a floured surface, knead gently 6-8 times, knead in a small amount of flour if needed. Pat into a 6 inch circle. Cut into 4

wedges.

5. Separate and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. Drizzle with honey.

7. Lightly press your thumb in the top of each scone. Fill indentation with strawberry jelly, jam, or preserves.

8. Bake at 425 for 12-15 mins or until light brown.
