Receta Honey Yogurt Poppy Seed Dressing
I am about to share with you my Honey Yogurt Poppy Seed Dressing that is excellent over a fruit salad.
But first, Did I mention to all of you that at some point in the last two years I totally let myself go? I didn’t care that I kept gaining weight. As a matter of fact, all the weight I lost in 2010 was back and another 10 pounds on top of that. I think I was ashamed of this fact and I thought if I didn’t write about it that maybe it would go away.
Not only that, but I really didn’t get on a scale all that often. I told myself that my scale was not calibrated and so there was no reason to get on it. This past March, as I was realizing that Fitbloggin13 was approaching and I was finally going to attend the conference, that I better walk the talk.
I got on the “uncalibrated” scale and saw 149.5. It was right there at the tip of my toes and I couldn’t help but want to cry.
By April 10 I lost 8 pounds. The hubby and I left to attend the Masters Gold Tournament in Augusta, Georgia and when I returned from that trip, I gained back 5 pounds.
I have recorded 19 days of running since then and about 48 miles logged. I ran the 5K on June 8 and my time was 46:06. About 15 minutes a mile. I am currently down 12 pounds from that dreaded 149.5.
Fitbloggin is in 2 weeks and I am so excited to be attending.
