Horseradish And Green Onion Mashed Potatoes

Ingredientes

  • 3 lb Yellow potatoes
  • 2 c. Heavy cream
  • 1/2 lb Sweet unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 c. Freshly-grated horseradish root
  • 1/2 c. Minced green onion

Direcciones

  1. Peel potatoes. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cool water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 18 to 22 min, till potatoes are tender.
  2. In a saucepan combine cream and butter. Heat till very hot. Add in salt and pepper. Drain potatoes and quickly pass through a food mill or possibly potato ricer into a large bowl. Whisk cream mix into the warm potatoes. Add in the horseradish and green onions. Serve warm.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
