Hot Sauce with Green Chiles

Couldn't get any Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce where we lived, so I did the next best thing. Made up my own green chile hot sauce.

Ingredientes

  • 20 Jalapeno chiles
  • 15 Serrano chiles
  • 8 Habanero chiles
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of white vinegar
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 dozen 5 oz. bottles

Direcciones

  1. Chop off the stems of the chiles. Then slice them at quarter inch intervals. Chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Put them all in a pot with the water and cook at a simmer. Cook until tender. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Add vinegar and transfer to a blender and blend until completely liquefied.
  4. Let cool. Put into bottles and enjoy.
