Hot & Spicy Ribs

Ingredientes

  • 1 (3 lb.) rack pork ribs
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 med. onion, finely minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 2/3 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in large skillet over low heat. Add in onion and garlic. Saute/fry till tender. Add in remaining ingredients except ribs and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
  2. Place large piece of aluminum foil over coals beneath grill to catch drippings. Baste meatiest side of ribs with sauce. Place ribs on grill meatiest side down 6 inches above low coals. Baste top side, close hood, cook 20 min, turn and baste. Cook additional 45 min or possibly till done. Basting every 10-15 min with sauce.
