Ingredientes

  • 1 x 6-oz can Bumble Bee Solid White or possibly Chunk White Tuna in Water
  • 1 x bottled jalapeno pepper, seeded and ribbed (optional)
  • 24 x round or possibly triangular tortilla chips
  • 1/2 c. (2 ounces) shredded Jack or possibly cheddar cheese

  1. Open can, throw away lid. Hold a small wire mesh strainer or possibly colander over an empty sink; dump can of tuna into strainer, hold over sink till all of the liquid has liquid removed. (To be sure all of the liquid has liquid removed, gently press on tuna in strainer with the back of a spoon.) Place tuna in a bowl; flake into small pcs with a fork. Carefully mince jalapeno pepper, if using; stir into tuna. Arrange chips on a large, microwave-safe platter or possibly shallow casserole. Sprinkle flaked tuna proportionately over chips, then sprinkle with cheese. Microwave on HIGH (100%) 30 seconds, rotate dish. Microwave on HIGH (100%) 30 to 60 seconds longer, till cheese is melted. Cold about 1 minute.
