Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 x Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 stk butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 6 ounce Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. Finely minced pecans
  • 1 x 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 c. Heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. Bourbon

Direcciones

  1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a medium bowl; beat in Large eggs. Fold in butter, vanilla, chocolate chips and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350F for 40 min or possibly till puffy and lightly browned. Cold completely. Top each slice with Derby Whipped Cream.
  2. Derby Whipped Cream: Beat 1/2 c. heavy cream with 2 Tablespoons confectioner's sugar until soft peaks form. Add in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1 Tablespoons bourbon and beat till stiff.
