%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20there%20was%20more%20to%20my%20high%20school%20diet%20than%20that....I%20know%20I%20did%20alot%20of%20bad%20things...drank%20ALOT%20of%20soda.%20I%20didn't%20drink%20caffeine%20but%20I'd%20suck%20down%20Sprite%20like%20a%20fiend!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20since%20I%20got%20the%20baking%20bug,%20it's%20like%20my%20FAVORITE%20thing%20to%20do.%20Really...when%20I%20get%20a%20new%20cookbook-those%20are%20the%20FIRST%20recipes%20I%20go%20for!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20do%20you%20moderate%20something%20you%20are%20obsessed%20with?%20How%20do%20I%20go%20back%20from%20baking%20all%20the%20time-to%20JUST%20on%20special%20occassions?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt's%20gonna%20be%20hard...I'm%20not%20going%20to%20like%20it.%20But%20I%20think%20it%20will%20be%20better%20for%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20here's%20my%20plan....ONLY%20TWO%20baked%20sweets%20for%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20year.%20Wait,%20what?%20Yes.%20I'm%20the%20one%20that%20is%20doing%20dessert%20for%20family%20Thanksgiving.%20So%20that%20is%20one.%20And%20the%20other%20I'll%20probably%20save%20for%20Christmas.%20It%20will%20give%20me%20more%20to%20look%20forward%20to,%20right?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEither%20that%20or%20I'll%20just%20go%20insane%20from%20lack%20of%20sugar.%20Maybe%20not%20insane,%20but%20I%20can%20almost%20guarantee%20crankiness.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20cookies%20pictured%20at%20the%20top%20of%20the%20post%20are%20partially%20to%20blame.%20Those%20sneaky%20little%20sirens%20called%20my%20name%20until%20I%20ate%20them%20all.%20And%20I%20don't%20even%20really%20LIKE%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies.%20But%20these%20are%20different.%20These%20are%20Browned%20Butter%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cookies.%20They%20are%20the%20devil.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20first%20encountered%20them%20at%20Can%20You%20Stay%20for%20Dinner.%20Thinking,%20naively%20that%20this%20gal%20is%201)%20totally%20gorgeous%20and%202)%20totally%20thin...so%20eating%20ALL%20of%20these%20cookies%20wouldn't%20negatively%20affect%20me.%20Um..ha.%20It%20doesn't%20work%20that%20way.%20And%20I%20really%20doubt%20she%20eats%20ALL%20her%20cookies..like%20a%20certain%20cookie%20monster%20does%20*points%20at%20self*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20325%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20saucepan%20over%20medium%20high-melt%20your%20butter%20and%20let%20it%20brown.%20This%20took%20me%20a%20good%2010-15%20minutes.%20Your%20nose%20will%20know,%20as%20will%20your%20eye%20when%20it's%20ready.%20It%20gets%20this%20delicious%20'nutty'%20flavor.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20browned%20butter%20in%20your%20mixing%20bowl,%20and%20add%20the%20brown%20sugar.%20Mix%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20combined%20add%20the%20eggs%20and%20vanilla.%20Mix%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20add%20your%20flour%20and%20soda.%20Mix%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20mix%20in%20your%20chocolate%20and%20pecans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*I%20ran%20my%20pecans%20through%20my%20mini%20chopper%20so%20they%20were%20seriously%20tiny%20pieces*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20my%20mini%20scooper%20and%20went%20to%20down%20on%20a%20parchment%20lined%20cookie%20sheet.%20Baked%20these%20babies%20for%20about%2012%20minutes%20per%20sheet.%20Let%20them%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20went%20to%20town%20with%20a%20glass%20of%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20have%20been%20warned.%20And%20if%20you%20have%20NO%20self%20control,%20like%20me...well...I%20informed%20you%20thusly.%20(*giggles*%20anyone%20know%20the%20tv%20show?)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
