Hummus Dip
About a hundred years or so ago, I got this recipe from Weight Watchers, but I had forgotten about it until I saw a similar recipe on Our Family Treat’s site. So here it is, the long lost recipe for a very healthy summer dip!
Hummus
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cans chick peas
- 1/3 cup lemon juice-fresh
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic-chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoning
- pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, adding more olive oil if too thick.
**This hummus is great on it’s own, but even better when you top it with chives, sliced black olives or crumbled feta cheese!!
