Hungarian Carp In Paprika Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 4 x Carp fillets - (6 ounce ea)
  • 1 x Lemon juiced
  • 1 1/4 tsp Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c. Coarsely-minced onion
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 1/4 x Green bell peppers seeded, diced
  • 1 1/4 x Tomatoes peeled, diced

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Drizzle fish with lemon juice. Marinate 20 min in refrigerator. Heat butter in a heavy non-reactive saucepan over medium heat. Saute/fry onions 4 to 5 min till tender. Sprinkle with paprika. Stir in green peppers and tomatoes and bring to a boil. Arrange fish on bottom of a buttered casserole. Cover with sauce and bake 20 to 25 min, basting occasionally.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  4. Suggested Wine: Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, or possibly Chardonnay
