Hungarian Stuffed Green Peppers

Ingredientes

  • 3 x Very large green peppers, or possibly 6 medium
  • 1 x Onion, minced
  • 1 lb Grnd pork, or possibly mild pork sausage
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 c. Cooked rice
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 x Egg, slightly beaten
  • 8 ounce Tomato sauce

Direcciones

  1. Remove stem and seeds from peppers. Brown onion and grnd pork till not pink. Drain fat. Remove from heat. Add in salt, rice, paprika and egg. Lightly fill peppers. Arrange in baking dish and pour on tomato sauce. Bake in 375 F. oven for 1 hour. Can par-boil peppers in Micro. for 3-4 min before filling and do final cooking in Microwave for 20-25 min.
