%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20raclette%20eating%20because%20I%20bought%20Dr.%20Food%20the%20gizmo%20for%20his%20birthday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20the%20consuming%20of%20the%20last%20of%20our%20Padron%20peppers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOver%20the%20weekend%20it%20was%20cold%20so%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20Shepards%20Pie.%20It%20was%20really%20good.%20I%20didn't%20really%20use%20a%20recipe%20but%20I%20will%20describe%20how%20I%20made%20it%20later.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh,%20and%20by%20the%20way.%20I%20am%20not%20trying%20to%20con%20anyone%20here.%20I%20used%20packaged%20mashed%20potato%20stuff.%20Hello?%20What?%20No,%20you%20don't%20hate%20me.%20I%20am%20just%20honest.%20I%20have%20also%20been%20known%20to%20eat%20gluten,%20eat%20velvetta,%20and%20eat%20lots%20stuff%20that%20is%20bad%20for%20me.%20Processed?%20Yes,%20been%20known%20to%20eat%20processed%20crap%20as%20well.%20Ok%20there.%20I%20said%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20now%20that%20you%20are%20disillusioned%20I%20will%20tell%20you%20that%20at%20least%20*I*%20made%20my%20own%20Worcestershire%20sauce%20that%20I%20also%20used%20in%20this%20dish.%20So%20there.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20picked%20a%20boatload%20of%20tomatillos.%20I%20found%20this%20shrimp%20recipe%20on%20Simply%20Recipes%20and%20it%20was%20really%20good.%20Not%20sure%20that%20Dr.%20Food%20liked%20it%20as%20much%20as%20me%20but%20I%20really%20loved%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20I%20would%20make%20this%20again.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20tequila%20didn't%20hurt%20it%20any.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20you%20can%20leave%20now%20if%20you%20could%20care%20less%20about%20my%20personal%20life.%20I%20gave%20you%20the%20damn%20recipes%20and%20you%20don't%20have%20to%20read%20me%20waxing%20poetic%20about%20my%20baby.%20Actually,%20these%20are%20both%20my%20babies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELook%20at%20that%20face.%20Dr.%20Papa%20Food%20put%20him%20in%20a%20box.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EParker%20loves%20Dr%20Papa%20Food.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20went%20to%20Tilden%20Park%20and%20Parker%20fed%20cows%20celery.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20got%20to%20go%20to%20a%20party%20at%20Parker's%20school.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20LOTS%20of%20reading.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20it%20was%20Yo%20Gabba%20Gabba%20Birthday%20time!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20cake%20was%20a%20%22project%22%20alright.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheck%20out%20the%20inside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELots%20of%20great%20goodies%20to%20eat.%20Annie%20is%20a%20pro%20at%20decorating.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESomeone%20had%20a%20GOOD%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMamma%20and%20Dr.%20Papa%20Food%20gave%20Parker%20a%20kitchen%20for%20his%20birthday%20(Annie%20showed%20us%20the%20way%20to%20this%20one).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20determined%20to%20turn%20him%20into%20a%20top%20chef!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20imagine%20my%20pain%20in%20leaving%20this%20face%20and%20getting%20on%20the%20plane%20for%20New%20England.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20to%20turning%20colors...%20I%20miss%20my%20family.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EShepherd%20Pie%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eadapted%20from%20Gordon%20Ramsay%E2%80%99s%20Shepherd%20Pie%20from%20Gordon%20Ramsay%E2%80%99s%20Recipes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*One%20time%20we%20made%20this%20we%20used%20tequila%20instead%20of%20clam%20juice,%20it%20was%20good%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E**Duh,%20*I*%20used%20the%20tequila%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20oil%20in%20the%20pan%20you%20will%20use%20for%20baking.%20Add%20the%20onions%20and%20jalape%C3%B1os,%20cook%20for%205%20minutes%20on%20medium%20high%20until%20the%20onions%20begin%20to%20brown.%20Add%20the%20garlic%20and%20cook%20a%20minute%20more.%20Add%20the%20tomatillos,%20reduce%20heat%20to%20medium%20and%20cook%20for%2010%20minutes,%20until%20the%20tomatillos%20are%20cooked%20through,%20but%20still%20hold%20their%20shape.%20Sprinkle%20salt%20over%20the%20tomatillos%20as%20they%20are%20cooking.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20using%20clam%20juice,%20add%20to%20pan,%20turn%20up%20the%20heat%20and%20reduce%20by%20half.%20If%20using%20water,%20just%20add%20the%201/4%20cup%20of%20water%20without%20reducing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20cheese%20and%20shrimp.%20Cook%20in%20a%20preheated%20425%C2%B0F%20oven%20for%2010%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20pan%20from%20the%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERight%20before%20serving,%20mix%20in%20the%20cilantro%20and%20sprinkle%20with%20lime%20juice%20and%20freshly%20ground%20black%20pepper.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
