%20to%20the%20mustard%20and%20the%20just%20pickles.%20The%20medianoche%20I%20had%20was%20exquisite:%20it%20has%20all%20of%20the%20same%20ingredients%20as%20a%20cubano,%20but%20half%20of%20the%20protein,%20making%20it%20perfect%20if%20you%E2%80%99re%20not%20starving%20but%20you%20want%20the%20flavors%20of%20a%20cubano.%20Paired%20with%20a%20cortado,%20it%20was%20an%20awesome%20late-morning%20breakfast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETower%20Theater%20in%20Little%20Havana%20Feeling%20fed%20and%20buzzing%20slightly%20from%20the%20coffee,%20I%20made%20my%20way%20down%20Calle%20Ocho%20to%20check%20out%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20neighborhood.%20While%20there%20are%20definitely%20some%20touristy%20spots,%20what%20I%20liked%20most%20about%20my%20walk%20was%20how%20lived%20in%20the%20neighborhood%20feels%E2%80%93the%20businesses%20here%20are%20geared%20towards%20the%20locals%20rather%20than%20visitors.%20Stopping%20for%20another%20coffee%20and%20some%20writing%20time%20at%20a%20Colombian%20spot%20further%20down%20the%20road,%20I%20made%20my%20way%20back%20into%20the%20heart%20of%20the%20area%20in%20time%20for%20many%20of%20the%20bars%20and%20restaurants%20coming%20to%20life%20via%20live%20music.%20Not%20too%20shabby%20for%20noon%20on%20a%20Wednesday,%20no?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPassion%20Fountaine%20cocktail%20at%20Ball%20&%20Chain%20in%20Little%20Havana%20In%20the%20mood%20for%20a%20drink,%20I%20tried%20a%20passionfruit-forward%20cocktail%20that%20was%20way%20too%20easy%20to%20drink%20at%20the%2030s-era%20Ball%20&%20Chain%20club,%20and%20then%20I%20grabbed%20some%20oysters%20and%20a%20beer%20at%20Ella%E2%80%99s%20Oyster%20nearby.%20Happy%20hour%20at%20both%20places%20(and%20all%20over%20Miami,%20seemingly)%20started%20at%20noon,%20so%20it%20was%20possible%20to%20eat%20and%20drink%20pretty%20reasonably.%20Michael%20was%20bummed%20that%20he%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20come%20with%20me%20on%20my%20first%20trip,%20so%20when%20we%20made%20our%20return%20our%20first%20order%20of%20business%20was%20plugging%20in%20Sanguich%20de%20Miami%E2%80%99s%20address%20in%20Google%20Maps%20and%20getting%20a%20sandwich%20and%20coffee%20as%20quickly%20as%20humanly%20possible.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
