%20with%20the%20day%20to%20day%20operations.%20%20I%20make%20cookies,%20do%20dishes,%20make%20soup%20from%20scratch,%20do%20more%20dishes,%20help%20with%20customers%20at%20the%20counter,%20do%20many%20more%20dishes!%20%20Yes,%20at%20this%20ripe%20old%20age%20I'm%20exhausted,%20but%20on%20the%20up%20side,%20I've%20met%20some%20extremely%20wonderful%20people.%20%20Better%20yet,%20even%20though%20we%20may%20bump%20heads,%20at%20times,%20I'm%20getting%20to%20engage%20in%20meaningful%20conversations%20with%20my%20son%20and%20share%20stories%20of%20our%20memories%20together.%20%20He's%20slowly%20finding%20out%20that%20a%20simple%20hug%20from%20him%20is%20all%20it%20takes%20to%20melt%20my%20heart!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20extremely%20proud%20of%20him%20and%20his%20wife%20for%20taking%20this%20double%20business%20on.%20%20Setting%20up%20business%20is%20not%20an%20easy%20task,%20especially%20when%20it%20encompasses%20Government%20involvement%20(inefficiency).%20%20%20At%20the%20end%20of%20the%20day,%20it%20can%20be%20very%20rewarding,%20especially%20when%20my%20son%20can%20look%20in%20the%20mirror%20every%20morning%20and%20say%20hello%20to%20the%20BOSS!%20%20That's%20the%20best%20part%20by%20far!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you're%20reading%20this%20and%20you%20are%20local,%20come%20to%20try%20out%20their%20delicious%20sandwiches%20(the%20bread%20rocks)%20and%20amazing%20unique%20ice%20cream%20flavors.%20%20I%20am%20self%20designated%20%22quality%20control%22%20person%20for%20product%20tasting!%20%20Not%20great%20for%20the%20waistline,%20but%20good%20for%20the%20soul.%20%20Ice%20cream%20makes%20everyone%20happy,%20I've%20had%20the%20pleasure%20to%20notice.%20%20%20The%20other%20day%20I%20had%20to%20laugh%20as%20I%20scooped%20some%20vanilla%20into%20a%20sugar%20cone%20for%20a%20little%20girl.%20%20%20She%20could%20barely%20see%20into%20the%20display%20case%20and%20as%20I%20scooped,%20she%20started%20to%20sing!%20%20%20Her%20dad%20said%20she%20always%20sings%20for%20ice%20cream...it%20works%20for%20me!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20such%20a%20long%20absence%20from%20this%20blog%20(almost%20a%20month)%20it's%20not%20as%20if%20I%20haven't%20been%20cooking%20or%20baking.%20%20I%20managed%20to%20make%20a%20flour%20less%20chocolate%20cake%20for%20my%20mom's%20birthday.%20%20%20It%20was%20divine!%20%20%20As%20you%20can%20tell%20by%20the%20not%20so%20appetizing%20photo%20above,%20it%20was%20a%20success,%20especially%20topped%20off%20with%20Icecycle%20Creamery%20ice%20cream!%20%20%20The%20only%20change%20will%20be%20to%20reduce%20the%20size%20of%20the%20round%20pan%20as%20it%20turned%20out%20a%20bit%20on%20the%20flat%20side!%20%20%20A%20flour%20less%20chocolate%20cake%20is%20so%20very%20decadent.%20%20A%20small%20slice%20will%20send%20you%20to%20heaven,%20I%20promise!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1/2%20cup%20cocoa%20powder%20(unsweetened)%20and%20additional%20for%20garnish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20375%20degrees.%20%20Butter%20an%208%20inch%20round%20cake%20pan%20(no%20larger%20or%20the%20cake%20will%20be%20flat%20like%20mine!)%20%20Line%20the%20bottom%20with%20parchment%20or%20waxed%20paper,%20then%20butter%20that,%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBreak%20chocolate%20into%20small%20pieces.%20%20Place%20chocolate%20and%20butter%20into%20double%20boiler%20over%20simmering%20water%20and%20stir%20until%20melted.%20%20Remove%20from%20heat%20and%20stir%20in%20the%20sugar,%20whisking%20as%20you%20go.%20%20Add%20the%20eggs%20and%20keep%20whisking%20until%20smooth.%20%20Sprinkle%20the%20cocoa%20powder%20on%20top%20and%20mix%20in.%20%20Pour%20the%20mixture%20into%20the%20pan%20and%20bake%20until%20the%20cake%20forms%20a%20thin%20crust,%20for%20about%2025%20minutes.%20%20Cool%20the%20cake%20for%205%20minutes,%20then%20invert%20onto%20a%20serving%20plate.%20%20Enjoy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20on%20my%20%22bucket%20list%22%20also.%20%20I%20will%20make%20it%20again%20using%20a%20smaller%20cake%20pan....definitely%20squelches%20your%20chocolate%20craving!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
