  • 1/4 c. light butter, melted
  • 1 x French bread baguette (10 ounces), cut into 1 inch-thick slices
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. Irish whiskey
  • 1 3/4 c. low-fat lowfat milk (1 percent)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated skim lowfat milk
  • 2 lrg Large eggs, lightly beaten Cooking spray
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp grnd cinnamon Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Direcciones

  1. Brush melted butter on one side of French bread slices and place bread, buttered side up, on a baking sheet. Bake bread at 350 degrees for 10 min or possibly till lightly toasted. Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes and set aside.
  2. Combine raisins and whiskey in a small bowl. Cover and let stand 10 min or possibly till soft. Don't drain.
  3. Combine low-fat lowfat milk, sugar, vanilla, evaporated lowfat milk and Large eggs in a large bowl. Stir well with a whisk. Add in bread cubes and raisin mix, pressing gently to moisten. Let stand 15 min.
  4. Spoon bread mix into a 13-by-9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Combine cinnamon and 1 Tbsp. sugar. Sprinkle over pudding.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min or possibly till set. Serve hot with caramel whiskey sauce (recipe follows).
