- 3 Oz Bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped
- 9 Tbsp unsalted butter, cut in tablespoon slices
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1/4 Cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/4 Cup Irish whiskey
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tsp vanilla
- 1/3 Cup +2 Tbsp flour
- 1/4 Tsp salt
- For the chocolate whiskey frosting-
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/3 Cup cocoa powder
- 1 Cup +2 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 2-3 Tbsp coffee
- 1-2 Tbsp Irish whiskey
- Pinch of salt
