Ingredientes

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 T shortening
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 T baking pwdr
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt together (add in 1/2 cup wheat germ if you like). Cut in shortening with a pastry blender till mix is like coarse meal. Add in raisins. Beat large eggs and lowfat milk together and blend into mix. Line muffin tins with paper baking cups and fill each cup 2/3 full of mix. Bake 20-25 min at 350 degrees or possibly till golden. Makes 12 to 15 tea biscuits.
