Italian Appetizer Loaf

Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. frzn white bread dough (usually 3 loaves)
  • 1 pound Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 pound hard salami or possibly pepperoni
  • Italian seasoning or possibly oregano
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • Poppy or possibly sesame seed

Direcciones

  1. Thaw 2 loaves of dough according to directions (can be done in microwave). On lightly floured surface, roll 1 loaf of dough into approximately 10 x 15 inch rectangle. Brush with butter. Spread 1/2 of cheese and 1/2 of meat. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Roll up, starting at long end, seal the ends. Brush with butter and sprinkle with poppy or possibly sesame seed. Make about 12 cuts across roll, about 1 inch deep. Repeat this with second loaf. Let rise about 1 hour in a warm place (warm, but turned off oven is good.) Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
