Ingredientes

  • 1.5 lb
  • 1 3/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil plus 2 tsp.
  • 1 Tbsp. honey plus 2 tsp.
  • 2 c. semolina flour * see note
  • 2 c. flour machine or possibly unbleache
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp Italian seasoning heaping ** see note
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast

Direcciones

  1. Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade.
  2. Place all ingredients in bread pan in order listed.
  3. Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.
  4. Select bread type (Oster) : Press select till the number 2 is displayed
  5. (Large, medium crust cycle).
  6. Press start. Bread will be done baking in the number of hrs indicated.
  7. semolina is the flour the color of corn meal that is used to make pasta.
  8. Before it is cooked it has a gritty texture, but obviously is smooth when cooked.
  9. Italian Seasoning is a mix of spices available at the grocery store.
  10. Itmay vary depending on the company making it, but it usually has some mix ofmarjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, oregano, and basil.
  11. Serving Ideas : This is wonderful with lunch meat and is my favorite bread
  12. NOTES : When I made a 1 1/2 pound loaf the bread hit the top of my 2 pound Oster Bread Machine (so I make the 1 pound loaf).
