Ingredientes

  • 1 stk butter
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 5 x Large eggs, separated
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1 c. Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Coconut
  • 1 c. Grnd nuts

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter and shortening; add in sugar and beat well. Add in beaten egg yolks.
  2. Combine flour and soda, add in alternately with buttermilk to butter mix.
  3. Add in vanilla, coconut and nuts and mix well. Mix in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into three floured and greased layer pans. Bake at 350 for 25 min. Cold. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting (see index).
