,%20topped%20with%20goat%20cheese%20and%E2%80%A6%20well,%20there%E2%80%99s%20supposed%20to%20be%20a%20farm%20egg%20on%20there,%20but%20my%20wife%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20like%20runny%20yolk,%20so%20she%20opted%20out%20of%20that%20item.%20Either%20way,%20it%20was%20quite,%20quite%20good.%20All%20of%20the%20toppings%20served%20a%20purpose%20and%20worked%20well%20with%20each%20other.%20I%20almost%20regretted%20my%20decision%20and%20wanted%20a%20pizza.%20But%20then%20I%20remembered%20that%20I%20ordered%20a%20pork%20chop%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20definitely%20one%20of%20the%20best%20pork%20chops%20I%E2%80%99d%20ever%20had%E2%80%A6and%20you%20guys%20know%20I%20eat%20a%20lot%20of%20pork.%20It%20was%20grilled%20to%20a%20perfect%20medium%20doneness,%20and%20topped%20with%20this%20sweet%20apple%20relish%20(actually%20called%20mostarda,)%20served%20on%20top%20of%20a%20butternut%20squash%20farro%20risotto.%20Oh%20my%20goodness%20that%20risotto%20was%20good.%20It%20was%20the%20perfect%20amount%20of%20creamy,%20had%20a%20really%20nice%20texture,%20and%20when%20mixed%20with%20some%20of%20the%20apple,%20it%20was%20darn-near%20magical.%20The%20chop%20had%20a%20nice%20char%20around%20the%20rim%20which%20added%20a%20nice%20texture%20and%20flavor%20contrast.%20It%20was%20ridiculous.%20I%20did%20not%20regret%20my%20decision%20in%20the%20slightest.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20even%20had%20room%20for%20dessert,%20if%20you%20can%20believe%20it.%20My%20wife%20got%20a%20chocolate%20mouse%20with%20sea%20salt%20on%20top.%20Once%20mixed%20in,%20it%20was%20a%20very%20good%20dessert%20that%20she%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20put%20down,%20but%20in%20its%20%E2%80%9Cserved%E2%80%9D%20state,%20some%20bites%20were%20too%20salty.%20I%20had%20a%20tiramisu.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20serve%20all%20their%20desserts%20in%20those%20little%20canisters,%20which%20is%20a%20nice%20little%20single%20serving.%20My%20dessert%20was%20pretty%20heavy%20on%20the%20rum%20and%20coffee,%20which%20I%20really%20liked.%20Our%20waitress%20mentioned%20that%20some%20patrons%20had%20mentioned%20to%20her%20that%20it%20maybe%20was%20too%20much%20of%20that%20flavor,%20to%20which%20I%20respond:%20Bullocks!%20Why%20would%20you%20get%20tiramisu%20if%20you%20didn%E2%80%99t%20want%20that%20flavor?!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20that%E2%80%99s%20about%20it%20for%20now.%20I%E2%80%99ve%20got%20another%20post%20cooking%20(get%20it?)%20about%20my%20classes%20at%20school,%20so%20I%E2%80%99ll%20finish%20that%20one%20up%20soon%20too.%20In%20the%20meantime,%20I%20hope%20you%E2%80%99re%20enjoying%20Tasty%20Techniques,%20and%20the%20new%20episode%20will%20be%20posted%20later%20today.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStay%20positive,%20love%20your%20life,%20and%20play%20with%20your%20food%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
