Italian Seafood Pasta Chowder

Ingredientes

  • 6 ounce small shells or possibly bowties
  • 3 ounce crab meat
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 2 pkt newburg sauce mix - (1 ounce ea)
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions

Direcciones

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Sort crab meat to remove any shell pcs.
  2. Heat butter in 3-qt non aluminum saucepan. Add in mushrooms; saute/fry for 3 min. Add in sauce mix; stir well. Add in lowfat milk, water and wine; stir well with a wire whisk till mix comes to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 to 8 min, stirring constantly.
  3. Add in green onions, pasta and crab; stir to combine. Heat through. Spoon into serving bowls and garnish each serving with minced parsley.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
