Ingredientes

  • 1/4 sm. onion, minced
  • 3 T cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grnd pepper
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • 2 bunches Romaine lettuce, torn into bite size pcs
  • 1 (7.5 ounce) can hearts of palm, liquid removed and quartered
  • 1 (8.5 ounce) can water-packed artichoke hearts, liquid removed and quartered
  • 4 ounce blue cheese, crumbled

Direcciones

  1. Puree onion with vinegar in blender. Transfer to medium bowl. Using electric mixer, blend in mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. Gradually add in oil in thin, steady stream and continue beating till thick.Cook bacon in heavy large frying pan over medium heat till crisp. Drain on paper towels. Cool completely. Crumble.
  2. Mix lettuce, hearts of palm, artichokes, blue cheese and bacon in serving bowl. Toss with dressing to taste and serve.
