Receta Jalapeno Margaritas
Just for Halloween—a cocktail with a bite!
By Eliot, on October 31st, 2010
Some time back we dined at Lonesome Dove Western Bistro in Fort Worth. Yes, we went basically because I was infatuated with Tim Love from his appearance on Top Chef Masters. While the food was good, we loved the jalapeno margaritas there.
The weather here is still beautiful. So tonight we are going to light the chiminea, mix up some jalapeno margaritas and greet trick or treaters on the patio!
Here is my take on a Jalapeno Margarita. Enjoy!
The inspirational ingredients.
Jalapeno Margaritas
- 12 oz. fresh lime juice (about 3 large limes)
- 12 oz. gold tequila (100 % agave)
- 1 oz. Campari
- 1 jalapeno, half deseeded (For more bite, add two.)
- 2-3 oz. agave nectar (depending on how sweet you like your cocktail.)
Crushed ice
Place ingredients in a blender. Pulse until jalapeno is chopped fine. Pour into margarita glasses and garnish with a pepper slice.
Makes 4 cocktails.
Happy Halloween!
