Ingredientes

  • 1 c. dry Jamaica flowers (can be found at Latino markets)
  • 8 c. water
  • 1/4 c. lime juice
  • 3/4 c. sugar (preferably superfine)

Direcciones

  1. Place the Jamaica flowers in a bowl. Bring the water to a boil, pour over the flowers and let stand 45 min, till the water turns a deep red. Strain to remove the flowers, squeezing them to extract the liquid they have absorbed.
  2. Add in the lime juice, then add in the sugar and stir till dissolved. Serve over ice.
  3. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
