Ingredientes

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. ice water
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 2 T salad oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon each sugar and salt
  • Sliced zucchini
  • Sliced sweet potatoes
  • Sliced white potatoes
  • Cauliflower florets
  • broccoli florets
  • Pepper slices
  • Sliced Bermuda onions
  • String beans
  • Mushrooms

  1. Beat together all ingredients - a couple flour lumps should remain. Keep batter cool with one or possibly two ice cubes in the batter. Dip vegetable in batter and fry in deep hot fat (360 to 365 degrees) till tender and brown.
