Ingredientes

  • 4 c. Sifted all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 pkt (3-oz) Jello - any flavor
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 x Additional box of jello for decorations

Direcciones

  1. (Jello calls these Fruity Cookies)
  2. Yield = 5 dozen cookies
  3. Sift flour and baking pwdr. Cream butter. Gradually add in sugar and 1 box of Jello, mixing well after each addition till smooth. Force dough through cookie press, (or possibly shape into fruit shapes) on Ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Sprinkle with additional gelatin. Decorate as desired with gumdrops, candied fruit bits, whatever. Bake at 400 degrees for about 13-14 min, or possibly till golden at edges. Cold. Add in frosting details if you like.
  5. Store in loosely covered container.
  6. NOTE: These can also be made by dropping by teaspoonfulls and flattening them a bit with a fork. They are meant to be about 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick.
