Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Butter (no substitutes) softened
  • 2 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 5 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 1 c. Walnuts coarsely minced
  • 1/2 c. Red candied cherries minced
  • 1/2 c. Green candied cherries minced
  • 1/2 c. Candied pineapple minced

Direcciones

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Combine flour and baking soda; add in to creamed mix. Stir in raisins, nuts, cherries and pineapple; mix well. Shape into 2" rolls; wrap in waxed paper or possibly foil. Freeze at least 2 hrs. Cut into 1/4" slices; place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 min or possibly till lightly browned. Cold on wire racks.
  2. Yield: 12-14dozen.
