Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 c. Golden brown raisins
  • 2 1/2 c. Cider vinegar
  • 8 lrg Sweet red peppers, seeded & cut into 1/4" cubes
  • 8 x Cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 4 x Jalapeno peppers, seeded & finely minced
  • 1 jar (2 ounce.) crystallized ginger, finely minced

Direcciones

  1. Makes 6 - 1/2 pints
  2. Janet and anyone else who may be interested, here is the chutney recipe I this recipe yet, but it does sound simple.
  3. Combine all in a large Dutch oven and boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 1 hour 45 mins, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pack warm mix into warm jars filling to 1/2" of top. Remove air bubbles and wipe jar rims. Cover with lids and screw on bands.
  5. Process in boiling water bath for 10 mins. Chill after opening.
