Ingredientes

  • 4 ounce All bran cereal
  • 12 ounce Tea, warm and strong
  • 1 x Egg
  • 12 ounce Cake and pastry flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 6 Tbsp. Golden brown Syrup
  • 12 ounce Mixed dry fruit
  • 1 pch Salt

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl, mix dry fruit and All Bran. Pour warm tea over this mix and let stand, covered, overnight. In the morning, add in egg, flour, salt and syrup, and mix. Divide between 2 well greased loaf pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-60 min. Leave to cold slightly in pans and then turn out. Will taste better if tightly wrapped and put in tins - almost resembles a malt loaf. Serve sliced and buttered.
